Conroe Service League Scholarship Program

The Conroe Service League Scholarship Program began in 1961 with a 4-year scholarship in the amount of $300.  In 1970, the League began to present 1- year Fine Arts Scholarships.  In 1986 following the death of CSL sponsor Lady Hooper Schaefer, the League decided to honor her by naming the scholarship the Lady Hooper Schaefer Fine Arts Scholarship presented by the Conroe Service League.

Since then, the Conroe Service League has continued on the path of raising money and awarding multiple scholarships to Montgomery County high school seniors to assist them with future college expenses. To date, the Conroe Service League has awarded over $250,000 to hundreds of worthy students.

We even have members who once were awarded scholarships and have now returned to serve their community to give back.

OUR 2023 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS!

There were many great applicants that auditioned for our scholarship committee and while it was a really tough decision, these are the wonderful students that were awarded scholarships. A small reception at the Conroe Bargain Box to honor them and their families was held.

The future is looking very bright for these graduating seniors. Congratulations to them all!

Whatever the need may be, Conroe Service League is here to serve. It’s our mission.
